摘要: A high-resolution terrestrial mollusk record from the Loess Plateau of China has been studied to characterize climate variability during Last Glacial Maximum (LGM). The rapid successions in taxa Weinan loess sequence reveal that changes occurred at least four times this period. In region, millennia-scale fluctuations existed, as documented grain size and weathering intensity records. Our results show such reflecting both temperature precipitation, rather than a simple cold warm alternation. Changes precipitation were not phase LGM. Temperature varied earlier which could have effect winter summer monsoon interactions. data also East Asian monsoons reach southeast part whole intensification LGM led short duration annually impacting on Plateau, but intrinsic would changed significantly, thus providing thermo-hydrological conditions for temperate-humidiphilou s mollusks persistently grow develop glacial age.
