摘要: This paper deals with the precise identification of species Pseudo-nitzschia , focusing on those which are a potential source domoic acid, from Krka River estuary Central Adriatic Sea. Domoic acid was measured in phytoplankton net samples and shellfish collected winter early spring 2011 2012. only detected March 2011, both plankton extracts, during bloom. The concentrations particulate (DA) filtered concentrated seawater varied 3.1˗6.2 ng DA ml -1 . In sample concentration 0.2 μg g Species belonging to delicatissima complex were more common than seriata complex. Morphological analyses by electron microscopy revealed presence three potentially toxic species: P. calliantha pseudodelicatissima pungens, one non-toxic subfraudulenta However, dominated study presents first evaluation along Eastern Sea record pungens estuary.
