摘要: In December 2009, an important United Nations climate change conference (COP15) took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. This resulted the Copenhagen Accord, which forms basis for further negotiations Cancun, Mexico, later this year. As part of industrialised countries have submitted greenhouse gas emission reduction targets 2020 and developing actions reducing emissions. report presents overview of: 1) global implications all these submissions; 2) abatement cost implications; 3) meeting 2C goal, specified 4) main risks that could increase existing emissions gap towards 2C, 5) available options to close 20C. The country submissions result a decrease level from 56 Gt CO2eq about 49 50 CO2eq, against limited costs. For it is estimated 44 46 necessary 2020. Therefore, although are expected lead substantial reductions, higher reductions order maintain reasonable chance reaching goal. Several identified by 4 CO2 eq, would completely. However, there also various reasons why resulting turn out be much lower and, fact, almost no at all.
