摘要: The self-reduction of Eu3+ to Eu2+ is realized in Eu2O3 doped sodiumborate glasses the air condition. With increasing B2O3 concentration, blue emission significantly enhanced while 615 nm soon decreased. calculation result indicates that [BO4] tetrahedron are gradually replaced by [BO3] triangle with network former glass matrix. According infrared and Raman spectra analysis, high polymeric structure depolymerized mainly from complicated framework linking smaller planar BO3-triangles consisted units. Accordingly, characteristic vibrations relevant peaks reflected orthoborate groups, boroxol rings, pyroborate units, etc., decomposed glasses. In addition, effect variation on mechanism reduction borate discussed.
