摘要: Abstract A source of polarized negative hydrogen ions for a tandem accelerator is described. It consists conventional protons or deuterons producing beam 0.15 μA. Negative are formed by charge exchange in thin carbon foil. Under suitable conditions the can be accelerated without depolarization. The polarization proton after acceleration 47%. intensity passing through 0.3 cm diameter aperture into target chamber 10 8 particles per second.
