摘要: A 5 year observational study is reported which reviews the implementation of Geisinger Health System Osteoporosis Disease Management Program. This program includes Clinical Practice Guidelines, physician and allied health care provider education, community a bone density testing program. All women over age 55 years enrolled in Plan (GHP) from 1996 to 2000 were included this analysis. The guidelines led providers increase evaluation osteoporosis via measurements prescription treatment osteoporosis. Most importantly, age-adjusted incidence hip fractures fell significantly entire group as well several strata (65–74, 75–84 85+ years).
