摘要: Tiller number and culm length are important components of plant architecture determinate grain production in rice. A line SIL046, derived from an introgression lines population developed by accession common wild rice (Oryza rufipogon Griff.) a high-yielding indica cultivar Guichao 2 sativa L.), exhibits higher tiller shorter phenotype than the recipient parent (GC2). Genetic analysis showed that high-tillering dwarf was controlled novel single recessive gene, referred to as 3 (htd3), which located within genetic distance 13.4 cM between SSR makers RM7003 RM277 on chromosome 12. By means fine-mapping strategy, we mapped HTD3 gene 2.5 cM physical 3100 kb centromere Further identification would provide new opportunity uncover molecular mechanism development tiller, two yields
