摘要: Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) affects about 1% of all children and carries an increased risk pyelonephritis long-term renal impairment. There are several approaches to the treatment VUR: antibiotic prophylaxis (conservative treatment), open surgery, endoscopic treatment. For many patients, cures VUR with a single procedure, eliminating need for avoiding trauma major surgical procedure. The choice material is key importance, and, until recently, available materials were associated concerns regarding safety efficacy. Emerging data demonstrate that dextranomer/hyaluronic acid (Dx/HA) copolymer has good efficacy in treating VUR. A new algorithm is, therefore, proposed, recommending most persistent (longer than 1 year) be offered Dx/HA as alternative prolonged or surgery.
