摘要: This article serves as a case study of how contemporary residents the Upper Great Lakes states debate ethics and meanings living with wolves. An overview challenges facing Minnesota wolf management is provided, results Q-methodology are presented. The revealed three primary factors, or shared belief systems, about in Minnesota. idealist perspective tells redemption story sin atonement, institutional endorses scientific rationality localist promises justice, respect acknowledgement for its champions. factors interpreted narratives latent myths that provide set tacit directions to adherents understanding complexities among carnivores. intricacies unique logic each discussed, themes consensus disagreement briefly highlighted.
