摘要: Immunoglobulin production in the primary and secondary immune response of brown trout to keyhole limpet haemocyanin has been investigated including effect dose size, route number injections, use adjuvant. Antibody activity was found first fraction from Sephadex G200 second Sepharose 6B. Trout immunoglobulin had β2—Γ1 electrophoretic mobility, Sapp 16·7 an approximate molecular weight 670 000 daltons. It sensitive dithiothreitol stable at 56°C for 30 min. concentrations were measured by single radial immunodiffusion with a specific rabbit antiserum. Sera non-injected mean level 7·3 ± 0·3 mg ml−1 which accounted 10% total serum protein. Phosphate buffered saline-injected controls contained 6·7 0·2. In fish given injection concentration ranged 7·5 12·9 those more than one 12·6 16·8. The adjuvant resulted higher concentrations. Neither nor any significant on response. However, intramuscular significantly increased production.
