摘要: Using immunofluorescence (IF), we investigated reactive antigens present in Crohn's disease patients with monoclonal antibodies derived from cells infected measles virus, but not the subacute sclerosing panencephalitis virus. During immunoblotting, one antibody (mAb 86) reacted a polypeptide molecular weight of 36 000 dalton (M; matrix protein) virus-infected cells. This displayed positive reaction only tissues by IF test. It did react samples other chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, such as ulcerative colitis. Other to virus protein, and toHerpes simplex type 1 same tissue samples. The role infection and/or viral antigen (possibly M causative agent poses challenging avenue for further research.
