摘要: Research into the use of diagrams is an interdisciplinary endeavour, encompassing disciplines as diverse psychology, architecture and artificial intelligence. It also a relatively new research area, with first meeting like-minded researchers interested in studying taking place 1997. Now that more established, it timely to review its scope, nature progress. This paper reviews over past twelve years, represented proceedings International Conference on Theory Application Diagrams. In summarising contents these proceedings, taxonomy describing scope proposed, several issues covered are identified, extent which layout aesthetics form part this body discussed. concluding, trends under-represented areas noted The aim not only summarise particular conference, but provide basis for on-going discussion changing research.
