摘要: Pellet growth of Aspergillus terreus ATCC 20542 in submerged batch fermentations stirred bioreactors was used to examine the effects agitation (impeller tip speed u(t) 1.01-2.71 ms(-1)) and aeration regimens (air or an oxygen-enriched mixture containing 80% oxygen 20% nitrogen by volume) on fungal pellet morphology, broth rheology lovastatin production. The methods did not affect biomass production profiles, but significantly influenced titers. Pellets approximately 1200 microm initial diameter were reduced a final stable size 900 when intensity >/=600 rpm (u(t)>/=2.03 ms(-1)). A 2500 could be attained less intensely agitated cultures. These large fluffy pellets produced high titers aerated with gas air. Much smaller obtained under highly conditions attain productivity even atmosphere. This suggests that both upper limit level dissolved are essential for attaining lovastatin. bioreactor correlated equally well specific energy dissipation rate circulation function. latter took into account frequency passage through shear regions impellers. gave thinning cultivation broths.
