摘要: Abstract Purpose Hypotonic maculopathy secondary to cyclodialysis often persists and causes irreversible visual loss despite a variety of treatments proposed. The purpose this study is report two cases with persistent hypotonic due large cleft treated simple, lens-sparing technique external drainage, diathermy, suturing under the placement an infusion cannula. Observations Both patients had sustained blunt trauma one eye, causing persisting maculopathy. One eye was phakic. ciliary body totally detached cleft. After half-thickness scleral flaps were made 25-gauge cannula placed at pars plana, drainage performed. Transscleral diathermy interrupted also done. Results In both cases, detachment promptly improved intraocular pressure normalized after transient elevation for few days. No adverse events observed. Conclusions importance We successfully by simple This procedure immediately effective, less invasive, applicable all including phakic eyes.
