Pharmacotherapy of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

摘要: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) has attracted the attention of many investigators from time immemorial because rarity disease, distinctive clinical picture, and ego-alien nature symptoms. Over time, methods treatment have been tried, unfortunately, with little success. Thus, pessimism generally expressed by workers regarding outcome therapeutic intervention (Kolb, 1968; Lewis, A., 1935; Pollitt, 1957). However, progress achieved over past 20 years in psychological somatic treatments this disorder, there is reason for optimism. Hopefully, new directions will also provide insights understanding crippling disorder. Basic to evaluation efficacy are problems diagnosis, assessment, rationale treatment.
