摘要: We present model calculations to explore the possibility of colloidal island formation over strained surfaces. Colloids, aggregating due attractive depletion interactions, are deposited onto a surface whose lattice constant and geometry can be varied by optical forces. This allows precise control strain between substrate adsorbate. Three different fields considered: with either an unidirectional or hexagonal variation strain, combination both variations. find that field induces infinitely extended ridges, while lead regular pyramidal structures which distorted in controlled way adding component. furthermore study dependence size on strength for pattern area occupied is fraction field's repeat unit.
