摘要: Acenes have emerged as an important class of organic electronic material. Related heteroatom-substituted compounds, or heteroacenes, introduce means for modulating properties and improving materials’ stability. In this perspective, we will review the historical origins heteroacenes discuss recent progress in field acene related compounds containing fused 1,4-diazabenzene units, i.e.pyrazine, also known ‘pyrazinacenes’. We focus not only on types materials that been prepared but their chemical physical properties, including synthetic procedures, self-assembly characteristics, some computational studies aimed at understanding more unusual behaviours group such protic tautomerism aromaticity/antiaromaticity.
