摘要: Reconstruction of bone loss in the alveolar ridge has long been challenging. Autologous grafts are considered as "golden standard," while little research focused on how to repair pronounced defects after autologous graft failure. The aim this study was detail a method based titanium mesh technique coupled with particulate coral hydroxyapatite solve onlay With deficiency No. 11 and 24-25 regions, we harvested 2 blocks for reconstruction. Two weeks transplantation, region had healed uneventfully, anterior mandible became infected because soft tissue dehiscence. After removal failed block, pure stabilized within used rehabilitation. Six months later, width local evaluated. removed, biopsy performed regeneration by micro computerized tomography histology, following standard Straumann implant insertion. Although there wound dehiscence 14 days augmentation, repeated rinsing anti-inflammation therapy controlled inflammatory reaction. total horizontal gain 4.2 ± 0.5 mm. Micro revealed that closer host bone, more resorbed regenerated. Histology showed mature lamellar structures, evident residual hydroxyapatite. A 3-year follow-up stable around dental successful function implant-born prosthesis. This proposes sheltered is promising solution handling augmentation More cases needed further form an efficient treatment procedure.
