摘要: Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is the most common heart disease in Doberman Pinschers. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short non-coding RNAs playing important roles gene regulation. Different miRNA expression patterns have been described for DCM humans and might represent potential diagnostic markers. There no studies investigating profiles canine DCM. The aims of this study were to screen profile serum using microarray compare a group Pinschers with healthy controls. Eight examined by echocardiography 24-hour-ECG classified as (n = 4) or suffering from 4). Total RNA was extracted hybridized on custom-designed 8x60k (Agilent) containing probes 1368 individual miRNAs. Although total concentrations very low samples, 404 different miRNAs detectable sufficient signal intensity microarray. 22 differentially expressed two groups (p 1.5), but did not reach statistical significance after multiple testing correction (false discovery rate adjusted p > 0.05). Five selected further analysis quantitative Real-Time RT-PCR (qPCR) assays. No significant differences found specific qPCR assays Numerous can be detected serum. Between dogs, changes could detected, results probably due small size. new circulating biomarkers veterinary medicine should investigated larger patient additional diseases.
