摘要: Abstract Al-based composites reinforced with Mg 58 Cu 28.5 Gd 11 Ag 2.5 glassy particles have been synthesized by powder metallurgy. Powder consolidation was carried out uniaxial hot pressing at temperatures within the super-cooled liquid region of reinforcement to take advantage viscous flow particles. The improved yield and compressive strength compared unreinforced Al matrix without deteriorating plasticity material. relationship between mechanical properties structure investigated described through modified shear lag mixture models.
