摘要: AFTER A COMPREHENSIVE LITERATURE SURVEY ON SOIL-LIME REACTIONS AND THE PROPERTIES OF ORGANIC SOILS, LABORATORY STUDIES DIFFERENT INORGANIC SOILS SHOWED THAT ENGINEERING CHARACTERISTICS SOIL (PLASTICITY, STRENGTH, ETC.) WERE IMPROVED BY ADDITION LIME. CHANGES IN PH MIXTURES INCREASED LEVELS LIME TREATMENT ABLE TO SATISFY BASE EXCHANGE CAPACITY MATTER INITIATED REACTION. MINERALOGICAL INVESTIGATION WAS PERFORMED LIME: X-RAY DIFFRACTION ANALYSES PRESENCE CEMENTITIOUS PRODUCTS SIMILAR THOSE REPORTED FOR REACTIONS. TESTED CONTAINED UP 20% MATTER. PREVIOUS RESEARCH AT LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY HAD SHOWN MAJORITY HAVE NO MORE THAN MATERIALS. BASED THIS STUDY, IT IS CONCLUDED SUCH CAN BE STABILIZED /LSU/
