摘要: 14-3-3 proteins are a family of highly conserved polypeptides that function as small adaptors facilitate diverse array cellular processes by binding phosphorylated target proteins. One these is the regulation cell cycle. Here we characterized role Bmh1, protein, in cycle fungus Ustilago maydis. We found this protein essential U. maydis and it has roles during G2/M transition organism. The seems to mirror proposed for Schizosaccharomyces pombe regulation. provided evidence binds mitotic regulator Cdc25. Comparison other fungal system let us discuss connections between morphogenesis, evolutionary fungi.
