摘要: ABSTRACTAmphibians are vulnerable to extinction due their need for both terrestrial and aquatic habitats complete life cycles. Some of them occupy urban areas, thus human tolerance amphibians is likely have a significant impact on survival. Here we investigated by interviewing convenience sample 201 pond owners non-owners various ages in Slovakia. Tolerance tadpoles was higher than adult amphibians. About 26% reported that they kill amphibians, as did 31% non-owners. We found positively correlated with perceived importance negatively disgust reaction Disgust correlated, suggesting people who disgusting underestimated nature.
