摘要: Fruits and vegetables have long been recognized as potentially important in the prevention of cancer risk. Thus, scientific interest nutrition has grown over time, shown by increasing number experimental studies about relationship between diet development. This review attempts to provide an insight into anti-cancer effects Citrus fruits, with a focus on their bioactive compounds, elucidating main cellular molecular mechanisms through which they may protect against cancer. Scientific literature was selected for this aim collecting relevant evidence fruits flavonoids. The findings discussed strongly support potential agents, represent basis develop nutraceuticals, food supplements, or complementary alternative drugs context multi-target pharmacological strategy oncology.
