摘要: The levels of iron (Fe), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn) and potassium (K) have been measured in normal malignant liver kidney tissue using X-ray fluorescence. Zn was reduced tumours by 63% 26%, respectively. Fe, Cu K were increased 150%, 8% 90%, 76%, 29% 43%. A synchrotron microprobe used to map calcium (Ca), breast tissue. distributions compared reference images higher concentrations metals correlated with areas cancer cells. average increase Ca, malignancy 70%, 43%, 53% 87%.
