摘要: The goal of consolidating powders to achieve high densities at lower temperatures and with a small grain size has motivated considerable efforts in the search for methods activate sintering process. Enhancement consolidation process been attempted through various approaches including mechanical activation powders, addition aids, use electromagnetic fields. latter approach received attention recent years, largely due widespread devices utilizing current pressure consolidate powders. Spark Plasma Sintering method (also known by other names) seen remarkable increase its utilization over past two decades. This was many significant, some cases, unique accomplishments. In this chapter we will focus then on role electric field emphasis observations, particularly those pertaining nanostructured materials.
