摘要: According to the multi-system account [J. Engelkamp, H.D. Zimmer, The Human Memory: A Multi-Modal Approach, Hogrefe & Huber, Seattle, 1994], enactment effect in free recall of action phrases (e.g. break stick) is independent inter- and intra-phrase associations because it emerges from nonverbal encoding processes under enactment. Two experiments have been reported which tested these further assumptions effect. In both experiments, (verb-object) were varied simultaneously addition Experiment 1, memory test was recall, 2, cued recall. Independent effects all three factors observed Enacted recalled better than learned only verbally. Phrases with high-associated objects verbs low-associated verbs, categorically related unrelated phrases. there no categorical list structure. structure corresponded those All interactions nonsignificant. findings interpreted as support for account.
