摘要: Investigated are the fundamental roles of curvature external streamlines in stability three-dimensional boundary layers, partial differential equations governing small disturbances superimposed on basic flows modeled by a simple system ordinary equations, which include nondimensional parameter denoting magnitude streamline curvature. The eigenvalue problem posed model is numerically solved to evaluate effects this critical Reynolds numbers Falkner–Skan–Cooke family velocity profiles. Computational results predict possibility new instability, essentially due curvature, centrifugal type similar Taylor–Gortler instability caused concave wall.
