摘要: In this paper, the impact of sea level rise (SLR) throughout 21st century in overtopping port breakwaters is analyzed at a regional scale, focusing on Catalan coast (NW Mediterranean). The study made considering three scenarios SLR and two levels storminess, computing discharges 47 ports to assess those exceeding tolerable threshold roughly estimate monetary value consequences such discharges. Possible adaptation measures are examined, selecting most cost-effective assessing cost its implementation for different damage levels. Results show that, as it could be expected, number affected by will increase with SLR, well economic impact. Another remarkable finding paper significant savings achieved allowing minimum contrast zero-damage option.
