摘要: A method of manufacturing a jerky-type pet treat using 70% meat content. The turkey is mixed with liver in ratio 2.5 to 1.0 by weight. mix ground and treated an anti-oxidant. This then emulsified. Potato starch, dry molasses, salt potassium sorbate are form mix. the fed independently into extruder at independent rates. together inside forming complete cooked within mechanical energy steam injection extrudate. extrudate forced through slit-shaped die onto conveyor belt. belt carries dryer finished product.
