摘要: The production of two regulators the inflammatory response, interleukin 10 (IL-10) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF), has been found to be deeply deregulated in SLE patients, suggesting that these cytokines may involved pathogenesis disease. Genetic polymorphisms at promoter regions IL-10 TNF genes have associated with different constitutive induced cytokine production. Given individual steady-state levels molecules deviate an initial immune response towards forms lymphocyte activation, functional genetic variants their promoters could influence development SLE. present review summarizes information previously reported about involvement on appearance, clinical phenotype, outcome. We show that, spite heterogeneity populations studied, existing knowledge points a relevant role genotypes
