摘要: We present a novel way to frame discussion of changes in publication patterns that occur context performance-based research funding systems (PRFSs). Adopting an approach derived from social epistemology, we foreground the dialectical nature knowledge. This allows us relate PRFS and show tensions emerge between relatively diverse fields with practices bibliometric indicators within PRFSs reinforce singular view goals.
