Structures, physicochemical properties, and applications of T–HgII–T, C–AgI–C, and other metallo-base-pairs

摘要: Recently, metal-mediated base-pairs (metallo-base-pairs) have been studied extensively with the aim of exploring novel base-pairs; their structures, physicochemical properties, and applications studied. This trend has become more evident after discovery HgII-mediated thymine–thymine (T–HgII–T) AgI-mediated cytosine–cytosine (C–AgI–C) base-pairs. In this article, we focus on basic science these metallo-base-pairs, which are composed natural bases.
