摘要: We have developed a novel method to synthesise artificial ligand-bearing DNAs utilising template-independent DNA polymerase. Hydroxypyridone nucleotides (H) were successively appended primers by the enzyme. The resulting strands, tailed with H nucleotides, formed CuII-mediated metallo-DNA duplexes through formation of metal-mediated base pairs (H–CuII–H).
