摘要: Abstract Twenty-four-hour intragastric acidity was measured continuously using an electrode in 13 normal volunteers studied four times. Subjects were twice the hospital and as outpatients. The dietary conditions strictly controlled replicate studies compared to assess variability of such recordings acidity. accuracy technique assessed, a detection limit for differences calculated commonly used time periods. Over 24 h, during night, day, evening is able detect consistent changes pH >0.1 units. During separate 5-min periods limits considerably greater. This study demonstrates 24-h confirms that continuous monitoring important under both hospitalized ambulant conditions.
