摘要: Abstract: Early biofilms composed of bacteria and organic matter on submerged material surfaces are the key drivers for subsequent attachment notorious fouling organisms, such as mussels, barnacles algae. Bacterial adhesion is a highly complex phenomenon that not only governed by properties surface, but more importantly surface bacterium itself. The design anti-adhesive materials challenged fact chemical diversity extracellular bacterial polymers results in numerous possible types additionally may vary with respect to environmental parameters. This chapter reviews different engineering approaches light an extreme adaptability mechanics.
