摘要: The gene coding for the human ventricular/slow twitch myosin alkali light chain isoform was isolated and sequenced. It found to contain a total of seven exons, last which is completely 3'-untranslated sequence. Comparison this sequence with that various fast skeletal sequences revealed exon-intron arrangement conserved within family. In fact introns are in exactly same positions analogous codons. derived amino acid from other protein indicated encoded by more homologous chicken cardiac than any sequences. These results indicate duplication gave rise genes must have occurred prior divergence mammals avians. We also localized short arm chromosome 3. Interestingly corresponding mouse has been mapped distal region 9 contains syntenic group map
