摘要: PURPOSE Compare corneal endothelial image analysis by Konan SP8000 and Bio-Optics Bambi image-analysis systems. METHODS Corneal images from 98 individuals (191 eyes), ranging in age 4 to 87 years, with a normal slit-lamp examination no history of ocular trauma, intraocular surgery, or inflammation were obtained the noncontact specular microscope. One observer analyzed these using system second system. Three methods analyses used: fixed-frame method obtain cell density (for both Bambi) "dot" (Konan) "corners" (Bio-Optics determine morphometric parameters. RESULTS The determined was significantly higher (157 cells/mm2) than determination (p<0.0001). However, difference density, although still statistically significant, smaller reversed comparing dot comers (-74 cells/mm2, p<0.0001; -55 p<0.0001, respectively). Small but significant differences between seen: +19 cells/mm2 (p = 0.03); area, -3.0 microm2 0.008); coefficient variation, +1.0 0.003). There two percentage six-sided cells detected 0.55). CONCLUSION Cell densities measured comparable Bambi's analysis, not method. minimal for parameters that studied. may be useful large-scale clinical trials determining loss; its has many benefits (including patient comfort, safety, ease use, short procedure time) provides reliable cell-density calculations.
