摘要: Construction and analysis of mutations in the hypervariable regions F71, F9 F11 fimbrillin genes are described. The results show that can be made without abolishing ability these fimbrillins to assemble into filaments. mutant fimbriae binding patterns with specific monoclonal antibodies differed from those corresponding wild-type fimbriae. These confirm antigenic determinants P-fimbriae are, at least partly, located regions, suggest more than one determinant is involved F71 specificity.
