摘要: Abstract Due to the low infectivity potential of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in a mining area located at State Bahia, Northeastern Brazil, effect mycorrhization on seedlings Leucaena leucocephala was investigated, order use this species for revegetation area. Caatinga soils from both, natural (control) and impacted areas, were used maintain inoculated with Glomus etunicatum. The soil diluted 0, 25, 50, 75 100% control In general, increase proportion contaminated had negative plant growth. Inoculated plants presented greater height, leaf number dry matter roots shoots than non-inoculated plants, when cultivated up 50% soil. Higher spore produced substrate 25% contamination. Mycorrhizal colonization higher 40% those treated
