摘要: A survey of 335 businesses in the Australian road industry has been carried out to ascertain those factors that make firms innovate. ‘Innovative’ is measured by adoption rates advanced technologies and practices, range innovation drivers reviewed encompasses business strategy environment. The findings indicate strategies are more important than conditions, following three significant differentiating between with high low rates: (1) hiring new graduates; (2) introducing technologies; (3) enhancing technical capabilities. also highlight importance undertaking R&D encouraging employee ideas for improvement. public policy implications quality university graduates should be protected advanced, as skills within sector client agencies.
