摘要: Despite the enormous potential for pharmaceutical applications, there is still a lack of understanding molecular details that can contribute to increased permeability stratum corneum (SC). To investigate influence hydration and heating on SC, we record natural-abundance (13)C signal SC using polarization transfer solid-state NMR methods. Resonance lines from all major components are assigned. Comparison intensities obtained with INEPT CP pulse sequences gives information dynamics components. The majority lipids rigid at 32°C, those co-exist small pool mobile lipids. ratio between increases hydration. An abrupt change keratin filament occurs RH = 80-85%, completely structure backbone protruding terminals. Heating has strong effect lipid mobility, but only weak filaments. results provide novel insight into how constituents affected by heating, improve enhanced permeability, which associated elevated temperatures (Less)
