摘要: The pH-sensitive chromoionophores brought the dream of ion-selective mem- brane scientist close to realization. With help these molecules, one can build pH-sen- sitive, electrodes and look into bulk solvent polymeric membranes dur- ing potentiometric measurements (spectropotentiometry) image concentration profiles in situ with high spatial temporal resolution. combination electrochemical opti- cal information helped interpret non-idealities responses, suppress or tailor undesirable transport across sensor membranes, estimate residual lifetime chronically implanted sensors.
