摘要: It is becoming increasingly clear that steroid hormones are involved in the biology of many organs outside reproductive system. Evidence has been accumulating since mid 1990s lung contains receptors for both estrogen and progesterone these have some role development, pulmonary inflammation, cancer. The receptor β (ERβ) major ER expressed tissues, while inflammatory cells capable infiltrating reported to express ERα ERβ. Although there evidence animals preferential effects ERβ lungs females, human tumors from males also contain ERβ-positive aromatase, enzyme converts testosterone estrogens. This review will discuss current literature findings on ERs (PR), as well CYP19 (aromatase), rate-limiting synthesis estrogen,
