摘要: Abstract The challenge of this work is the microwave curing study low free-furfuryl alcohol content furan resins. chemical characterization resins has been made by infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. composition resin its reactions with p -toluensulfonic acid are proposed, aim understanding mechanism responsible for main reactions. results show presence methyl ether bridges between rings, formation ketone conjugated structures. Furthermore, kinetics characterized differential scanning calorimetry. Different methods have applied in order to obtain compare activation energy process. Vyazovkin numerical analysis was found most accurate method. Finally, conventional processes compared. showed that twice faster than thermal curing.
