摘要: A case-control study was undertaken to investigate the status of platelet monoamine oxidase-B (MAO-B) activity in Indian cases idiopathic Parkinson’s disease. significant increase MAO-B observed (n = 26) as compared controls 26). No change enzyme while data analysed with respect age, sex and duration trend decrease stage although not significant. correlation age control subjects. treated L-DOPA inhibitor exhibited decreased drug naive those alone. Interestingly, amantadine also had lower Activity patients increased alone or combination other drugs controls. The results present indicate that phenotypic is high cases. Further, action mechanism used treatment disease could be understood by assay activity. It an interesting observation may looked further large number
