摘要: Background The taxonomic status of the brown dog tick Rhipicephalus sanguineus (sensu stricto) is a subject on-going debate; there consensus that populations this species should be referred to as R. lato) until its resolved. Recent genetic studies revealed existence more than one lineage (s.l.) in temperate countries.
