摘要: The Beaufort Gyre (BG) was spun up in the last decade which is an important factor regulating variation of upper ocean. heat content and freshwater ocean increased gradually Canada Basin, as did momentum input. Both geostrophic wind curl could contribute to spin-up BG. However, even though there no change field increasing alone result In this study we show that Pacific Water difficult flow into central basin BG spins maximum temperature Summer (PSW) experienced a dramatic decrease inside 2005 2009 due pathway PSW. enhancement Ekman Pumping (EP) contributed deepening Winter by piling more freshwater. This water column dynamics has also ofthe Atlantic core after 2007. EP decreased significantly 2012 (indicating spin down BG) direction transport turned north, favoured release had resided for years.
