摘要: Prior studies have shown that macrophages are recruited to sites of hair cell lesions in the avian inner ear vitro (Warchol, 1997) and vivo (Bhave et al., 1998). Although has a high capacity for sensory regeneration (Oberholtzer & Corwin, 1997; Stone 1998), role regenerative process is uncertain. The present study examined possible influence immune cytokines on proliferation utricle, one endorgans vestibular system. Utricles from post-hatch chicks were placed organ culture created by incubation neomycin. cultures then maintained an additional 24–48 hours vitro, some treated with dexamethasone, which inhibits macrophage activation cytokine production. Following fixation, resident identified immunoreactivity CD68. Labeled all specimens increased numbers observed following neomycin treatment. Regenerative dexamethasone-treated was reduced about 50%, relative untreated controls. Additional experiments showed two secretory products—TGF-α TNF-α—enhanced utricular supporting cells. results consistent regeneration.
