摘要: We experimentally demonstrate Cooper pairs' drastic enhancement of the band-to-band radiative recombination rate in a semiconductor. Electron pairs injected from superconducting electrode into an active layer by proximity effect recombine with holes $p$-type electrode. The pair carriers dramatically increases photon generation probability light-emitting diode optical-fiber communication band. measured decay time rapidly decreases decreasing temperature below transition niobium electrodes. Our results indicate possibility to open up new interdisciplinary fields between superconductivity and optoelectronics.
